My HQ army

Postby cynthialee » December 6th, 2011, 1:20 pm

Here are some pics of most of my HQ mini's.

Only pictured are the ones I have not painted. On top of all these guys I have a full set of mini's painted for a grand total of about 3.5-4 total sets. (havent bothered counting them...)

I have like 14 painted chaos warriors, a full set of an entire HQ board minus 1 goblin and add 3 extra orks and 3 extra fimirs, skelletons I have an additional 4 more painted than it takes for a complete set and 1 extra chaos wizard.

I am a little obsessed.....

I am particularly fond of undead....

That is quite an army!
But ya know... 1 painted figure counts as 25 unpainted ;-)

Holy crap that's a lot of figurines - you must have LOTS of fun when you play HQ.
Is that all you have is HQ minis...or do you have other stuff too?

You should play a Quest campaign where each individual monster figure is kept by the slaying Hero as a trophy (be sure not to exceed your actual figure count). Maybe each player could have an insert box from the main game system. After it is all over, give potions or whatever for most kills, most grays, etc.

This was the way experience was handled in Dark World. Players had sculpted plastic boxes to collect defeated mosters. I thought about using this in HeroQuest, as it is a very pictural, "haptic" way to keep track. But of course you'd need more minis than most people (including myself) own.
Have a look ;)

Awesome! And not in the least bit insane ;)

You could have a big 2 player battle, undead Vs Greenskins or something, HQ rules.

yes I have more than figurines.
I have 3 complete board games, 2 sets of ROTWL (only 1 box) 1 Kellars Keep (no box, it didn't survive), 5 boards and 3.5 sets of furniture.
Also I have home made print outs of the Elf pack, Barbairian pack, Dark Company and some other stuff that I can't remember what.
