Sorry...I don't know what that means.

If you have a windows PC, open the program called Character Map. You can get to it by typing "charmap " in the run dialog box. there's no reason to type the ASCII alt-codes. Just use the built in windows program...

Maybe this will help...

I see how the copy works now. I had found the character map but didn't realise. Thank you.

You may have to scroll down a ways before you find the cache of "special" icons; I believe they begin somewhere around the 9000s.
That said, in MS Word I usually just open the "Insert Symbol" dialog box and scroll down until I find what I'm looking for.
I also typically just copy and paste the text into Photoshop when I'm using that.

Great stuff. The only thing missing are the monster icons (useful for weapons, potions or spells that involve specific monster types).

Can the original file be re-uploaded? OP seems to be broken.

Let me put up a couple of links for you.
I have a copy of the font slev offered up originally, which I have put on my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ypv7akjs2af21p/ArialHQR-Regular%20test.ttf?dl=0
As for my own font, I believe the link in my signature still works, but here's another link just in case: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qbwp6r156wwx8up/HQModern%20v1-2-3.ttf?dl=0

Is the HQModern v1-2-3.ttf the most complete, most recent version? Or is there a newer download link anywhere?

And (sorry) I'm in the camp who would love to see the eight original Monster icons (hopefully both HQ89, and HQ21 versions) added to the font. I *do* have the vector images of the original monsters from the HeroScribe download, and I've stumbled across the new 2021 Monsters somewhere recently. Those work well when creating custom quests while *actually* using HeroScribe. But having them in a font file is much easier for things like writing up a list of Monster Special Abilities in a text document for instance (as part of my ongoing House Rules document that I've been working on).

I have jumped through the hoops to get FontForge installed on my Mac, but having zero experience so far with manipulating fonts, the prospect of me adding the Monster Icons into a font file myself seems a bit daunting...

Thanks!

I recently stumbled with this web to add accents to the Caslon Antique font, https://www.glyphrstudio.com/online/ its fairly easy to use. If you got the resources, go for it :)
