So their is an Orc on the left and an Orc on the right on the right of a player, O P O, each Orc gets to add an 1 extra Attack and Defense die due to the target having 2 attackers to focus on.
If a monster can attack diagonally also, then this adds another. Makes players and monster more strategic in their movements. Their are some classes that ignore this when being attacked due to training, but havent implemented that yet.
On the map, the Horror with the Ranger 1S and the Pit Fighter 1E of it, each would add 1A to their attack. If the Blacksmith can attack diagonally, this would add another 1A, so each would add 2A. Makes teamwork more important.
You dont have to use that rule, just wanted to know if you were. If you never heard of it, then it probably means no.
I was thinking of using it as a natural skill for Goblins. They feel tougher in groups. So they only need to be in the same room to gain the bonus, not surrounding their target.
Enough of this, let the game continue. (Although I am at work and should be working.
