Yet Another Custom Armory :)

Postby GimmeYerGold » November 7th, 2015, 3:40 pm

I made this custom armory to accompany my current set of house rules: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3124

Image

Thanks to Printplaygames.com, this will be printed on a 17" x 12" board with a fold down the middle so it can fit in my machinist chest!

(I had considered making the items on the left side be "Tier 1" items, and after the Heroes have reached a certain criteria, unfold the entire board to reveal the "Tier 2" items as well, but it was quite difficult fitting all this information and images on the given space, so at that point I decided not to worry about it! :D )

Looks pretty spiffy!
I wouldn't worry about tiers either.
The limit of gold will be plenty control on your game.
Sure they can squander a pile of treasure on a spiffy item, but they could spend it wisely and get more bang for the buck.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Looks beautiful and well formatted! And printing it on a board to fit in your box is freakin' awesome! Brings back memories of the classic NA base game inserts...

Couldn't help but notice that the graphic for your War Hammer and Spear look eerily similar to my Armory (With the hammer handle extended and the spear flipped horizontally).

...Not that I'm complaining, just wondering if you used my graphic for them (and maybe the hand axe too)??

EDIT: Now that I think about it. That war hammer head I actually photoshopped the crap out of (the original art I used was a single headed axe that I copied and flipped, then layered texture over, and added the pointed tip), so I'm quite confident that you used my images for your armory! Don't worry, I own absolutely zero copyrights for any of the images, so I'm not upset or anything... actually quite flattered!
It's like a new pair of underwear; at first it's constrictive, but after a while it becomes a part of you. I have to go...

I am not sure but did you mix up the wear-out conditions of frost skin and fiery rage potions?

Guilty as charged! :o I very much admired your excellent photoshopping job in your custom armory--apologies for not giving you proper credit! The colored potion images are also borrowed from a custom Alchemist's Shop. The only pieces in this armory I can take credit for creating are the cloak and the blowing horn, which are photoshopped from the chainmail and helmet, respectively. Anything here not made by a member of the Inn was borrowed from Pathfinder/D&D equipment pages.

Yep, I made them an inverse of the Courage and Rock skin spells.
