I wasn't aware of the size issue. Those minis are halflings though so they would look weird. Have you tried the normal ones?

I'd of thought 60mm too big or is that including weapon hight etc?

I got this one also which is a female dwarf but it looks so scrawny compared to the Heroquest Dwarf. I think I'm going to have a look for games workshop figures at some point.
60mm is about 2 inches which is what I presume heroquest figures are.

The issue with Reaper is that they have many lines on minis and many artists. The scale is basically different for each model… "25mm Heroic Scale Fantasy Miniatures" which is HQ. Generally I find the Reaper models to be on the big side.

There are several threads with comparisons. Many Reaper Minis were re-done in the Bones line and you can clearly see that they are generally bigger, and less "heroic" (chunky) in scale:

Yes, rebasing them makes it even worse, as one can see in those pictures on the other page. Had they not ben based and left to stand on the base they come on, the hight difference wouldn't be as bad, for some of them anyways!

You said scale needs to be 60mm. You said they look too small. I showed you they are actually bigger, a little different, and above all a mixed bag.

I like these figures, scale looks good to me.

Yes I agree looking at the side by side pictures, we have decided to buy Isabeau and Nienna to replace the male Barbarian and elf pieces. I'll have a nose for a female dwarf and wizard next thanks
I've had no problems at all with Goldenboy, his products do look brittle but they do hold up well. there aren;t any other people who make the models to my knowledge anyway.

Sorry no, I'm very new here.
I have only looked on eBay so far and Goldenboy seems to be the only seller I can find.

I have bought some bones Reaper minatures now so hopefully that will keep them happy, in the longer term though I want to replace my Ogres from AOH expansion as the warriors have become warped somehow.

If one has multiple copies of the game miniatures you could do like I have, paint the extra heroes differently than the others and let the players have more than one of a type of hero.
Not like there is only one big tough Barbarian in the world, same with the all the others.

Yes that's a good idea.

I've actually started to buy Dark World figures to add to my collection, as they seem very compatible. Their also a lot cheaper than Heroquest figures on eBay.

I have the Against the Ogre Horde expansion, and back when I was a child the glue I used to stick together the Ogre Warriors actually melted three of them so now their crouched and shrunk. Looking at the Dark World figures and how cheap they are they would seem the ideal replacement figures.
