Ye Olde Inn

Hello all, I am so glad to find this site. ( found this site through DM Scotty's Crafts N' Games )

Started playing this great game back in 1993, I have the four expansions packs Kellar's Keep,Return of the Witch Lord,The Frozen Horror and The Mage of the Mirror.

At the time I started playing Heroquest ,Toy R Us was already had the main game and Kellar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord on clearance so I picked up a few of each for the extra items.

To make a long story short Heroquest has sat untouched for over ten years in my game closet , It wasn't til my nephew and I were talking about the game and how He enjoyed playing it when he was 10 (He is now 21), I told him that I still had it .

So I unpacked the game and we are now playing on a weekly basis. It is my wife and nephew playing the heroes while I run the game, a few times two members of the RPG group we belong too join in as well.

I am looking forward to joining in on discussions and try out some of the new stuff that is on the site.

Fortunately I bought a good amount of Heroquest stuff back in 1993 , 3 of the main game plus the four expansions.

Plus I recently traded a bunch of hero clixs for another full game,a complete Return of the Witch Lord expansion,extra monsters and heroes,extra game boards and tiles plus a bunch of minis from various fantasy board games.

It was nice to get the extra boards since I cut up the extra boards that I had. I was playing multi level dungeons using the plastic pillars they use on wedding cakes to separate the floors.

If you're interested in completing your Quest collection, you still could pick up Against the Ogre Horde, Wizards of Morcar, and even The Dark Company. They are a bit pricy and you'll need to pay international shipping, but they aren't crazy expensive like the North American expansions. Of course, you can always download European expansions here and print them yourself. You'll still need to proxy the minitures or order recasts available from Inn members.
