Talisman Minis

Postby clmckay » August 7th, 2014, 7:59 am

Does, by any chance, anyone have a picture of a regular hq mini next to a talisman 4th mini? I'm wondering if they would be close enough to augment.

Close in most cases, but a bit disproportionate. Especially that Dwarf. I wouldn't rush out to buy 4th edition just for the minis, but they aren't half bad (in my opinion)! :goblin:

My pleasure. Please forgive the paintjob on my elf, it was one of my earlier attempts a good 15 years back!

Are they made of a hard plastic...or a kinda flexible rubber?

More of a rubber. Not as flexible as say a D&D miniature, but certainly not the hard plastic of a HeroQuest piece.

They're from the same manufacturer as all Fantasy Flight minis (Descent, DungeonQuest, RuneWars etc.).
Maybe you know some of those for comparison.

Wow, I'm impressed with the Wizard's heroic scale. The Dwarf may be tall, but the HQ Dwarf is short--I'm no more bothered by it than the nonheroic scale features of the Elf. Thanks for posting. These are a nice alternative to the rarer Talisman third edition minis.

The base set minis.
