Europe vs US rules

Postby Creed3737 » September 23rd, 2010, 6:20 am

Hello, I am reading the US rules for the first time on your site, and they do seem better thought out with more detail. There are differences however. I was just wondering what everyone else plays with, do you have a favourite?

For that matter, do you have any god homebrew rules you can reccomend?

Thanks in advance

I am spanish and I own a UK game bought from eBay, however, I always play with US rules (and some addons). I think that having all monsters with only 1 Body Point, and no use for Mind Points, was a shame.

I use the US rules since that's what I was brought up with.

I too, am using the US rules, only because it was the first set I owned. With a beginner group I like it.
A person can change it up, when the party becomes a little more stronger. Its just that if a champion dies and they have to start over,
I don't want the monsters to be so tough they can never kill anything.

The sad thing is with me working 6 days a week again, and the boys back in school, plus I help out at the local haunted house from Sept till Oct 31st every Friday and Saturday, I am not sure when we will be able to sit down a play again. Heroquest Withdrawls ... LOL
