Storage Ideas for your HeroQuest Game System and Stuff

Postby Dark Fire Jade » March 11th, 2014, 2:59 am

Been doing alot of orginizing lately thanks to moving recently and have been finding news ways to store and keep my stuff safe so thought I would share these storage boxes/ totes fit the heroquest box/ game system in it nicely matter of fact you can store 4 of them or the main system and expansions and it you get more than one they can stack nicely and basic fit on one another where they wont slide off each other if you bimp it. the site also has other sizes that work well too if you search it for other means I have 4 main systems so that is what will use for that size and the 32 L aka liter size I use for my expansions that the kellars keep and return of the witch boxes can both fit side by side in it and stack 3 possibly 4 high inside havnt tried 4 yet ill update that later when i can

so link one the game sysytem size box

http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... 0litre.php

link two 32 liter good for expansions and binders too!

http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... 0litre.php

link 3 great orginizers for minis!
Large size boxes
http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... eXLOrg.php

same thing but just without big outer box if u want the tray and little boxes http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... eXLOrg.php

and a smaller version if you think thats too big of boxes for your collection http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... treOrg.php

I hope this is helpful for some of you and they do ship world wide it looks like so you can also check for the site for those who are in the uk or elsewhere also maybe avible in stores around you if in the usa the store staples does carry them thus how i found them originally also I work there currently lol if you do want to go to staples as a heads up look out for coupons for office supplies that go out like at least once a month or every other month to get them cheaper and a note for everyone if availbe in a retail store seems to be cheaper in store oddly enough than online most cases for these.

With a pending moving myself I've been thinking quite a bit about "hobby organizing" too. Stuff like this could very well be a solution.

Interesting. I've been thinking about this a lot lately as I have been restoring and re-painting my collection. I'm really keen to make sure the figures are properly protected and was thinking about grabbing some Battlefoam. Has anybody on the forum gone this route? Are there any other recommendations?

Well, battlefoam is great obviously, but also expensive. I grabbed 2 cases with the first Bones kickstarter from Reaper, filled with battlefoam, so I can store a lot of minis in those.
I made my own HQ storage box, as other have as well, and inserted an aluminium plate inside, on which I stuck self-adhesive foam-tape (used to seal seams in construction). I stand my minis upright on the plate, which works fine too.

Ragnar used this.

Even tho that would be only for minis, it would really be neat!
