Hello, I'm from Australia and have recently discovered this wonderful place via the Oldhammer forum.

Heroquest is what got me into miniatures and warhammer, and the undead from Return Of The Witch King were the first minis I ever painted :redheart:

Sadly I never owned the full game, and I must shamefully admit I ditched Heroquest when Space Crusade came out.

Anyway, restoring and playing Space Crusade recently and seeing some of the incredible work people have done with Heroquest it only seemed right that I get back to my roots so to speak!
I have a copy of the main game, kellar's keep and my beloved return of the witch king in the mail (and managed to get all complete in one lot for $110 Aussie dollars-hooray!)

I've also been on the hunt for other suitable minis to use, and received (and painted) this guy yesterday-my first step in my return to HQ

Im looking forward to getting the game again and using some of the exciting content posted here!

Very fair indeed.

SC is very fast and very random (Even with four dice it's very possible to roll 4 zeros!)
HQ has the exploration, better story, traps, secrets and arguably much better expansions. HQ is definitely the most fleshed out game.

But both are equally great in their own ways.
I must admit playing as the Aliens is more satisfying than playing as the Evil Wizard. You get to do much more and actually kills a lot most of the time.
