The minis in the first three pictures are all from the three D&D board games Castle Ravenloft, Wrath of Ashardalon, and Legend of Drizzt.

With one exception:
1st picture, 2nd from left, green giant with hammer: World of Warcraft board game.

I've become some kind of expert in plastic minis...

A wealth of information here! The only think I do not like about non HeroQuest mini's are the round bases and the fact they are made of a rubberish plastic instead of the hard plastic. Thanks guys.

@Sjeng: Thanks. ;)

I can confirm all of this information.

I think the absolute best miniatures adapted to HeroQuest come from the Third Edition of Talisman. http://www.solegends.com/cittal3/index.htm

The Swashbuckler, Ranger, and Templar particularly.

Anyone have any good suggestions for an awesome cleric? Maybe with a mace or war hammer?

I am the master of finding miniatures. Its one of my things. I am heavily devoted to the right scale of miniature, be that in height or proportion, for the right game. Heroquest figures are all generally 5x heads in height for human-sized miniatures--basically, up to the neckline, Body.height = head.height x 4

First off, http://www.solegends.com/citadd1/add03c ... 191-01.htm
1985 Citadel AD&D Cleric. These are really, really rare, however.

If you're cool w/ a Dwarf being the Cleric, the Advanced Heroquest Dwarf is not that hard to find (I had one up until a month ago)

They are not. Those are painted examples. I just traded my whole set to local forum-user Bill Dask, actually. He's the guy who makes really great replicas of Heroquest miniatures, by the way. *WINK*

EDIT: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Advanced-Heroqu ... 4ac223da89 also
