Correct Order of Expansion sets?

Postby el_flesh » May 16th, 2010, 8:59 am

I know I read the correct order of them somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

I noticed that the expansions all follow a set order on this website - even in these forums!
So let me ask the obvious question: That's already the correct order, eh?

The European collection has a storyline that flows in the following order:
  • Game System
  • Kellar's Keep
  • Return of the Witch Lord
  • Against the Ogre Horde
  • Wizards of Morcar

The Mage of the Mirror and Frozen Horror have no connection with any other expansions, the same goes for the Dark Company. Due to their difficultly, most save them for after the previously mentioned expansions, but they could be played at any time. Many list the Mage of the Mirror after the Frozen Horror, but I always play the Frozen Horror after Mage of the Mirror because I find it far more challenging. So the last three go in this order when I play:

  • Mage of the Mirror
  • The Frozen Horror
  • The Dark Company

Cool!
Thanx!

I tried printing the Kellar tiles on Bristol Board - doesn't come out well on an inkjet.
So I think I'll bring the Bristol Board to the local print shop and see what they can do!

erm...while I'm at it...is there any recommendation for the fan-made quests you have to be inserted anywhere in that list?
I would imagine that they get inserted all over the place?

It would seem to me that drathe / Phoenix quests would be the best quality ones, too...?
