Just registered myself after some reading.
Its just nice to see that the "HeroQuest-dream" is still living on
Many years ago... we played all the Heroquest quests and addons... (multiple times
)So I consider myself as a fan... yes
The Dungeoncrawling experience is still my most beloved gametype.
After the HQ quests, I've bought Warhammer Quest back in the day.
But I've never played it with the official rules (way to random)
I've used the combat rules though for some mix between dungeoncrawling and roleplay.
Lately, because the lack of time and motivation, I've only been playing the "new" D&D boardgame from Hasbro.
Its fun.... but... HQ was way better
Plus... when you've played some dungeoncrawling with roleplaying once with your party, its hard to please with such "simple" rules
Anyway...
I'm trying to pickup the hobby once again...
I've got a party who's been complaining for years when we're going to play an adventure again...
So I guess its time to please them at last
