300dpi original expansion card scans?

Postby RabidWookie » July 15th, 2023, 2:35 am

Does anyone have 300dpi scans of the cards from the original expansions Frozen Horror, Mage in the Mirror, Wizards of Morcar, and Ogre Horde? I printed out copies of the scans currently available and they have a low-res look to them. I’ve been pining to play with those expansions for 30 years; I’ve bought all the modern rereleases but the new art just kills my interest in the cards. I love the old-school GE art, it’s what Heroquest should be! Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated!

There are recreations on this site here. When you click that link, you will see links for all the expansions. Just pick the ones you want and you will see downloads for cards. I also have recreations in the links in my signature.

I printed up the ones from the site, they were fairly low-res. Are the ones in your signature higher resolution?

Edit: I just printed some of yours up, they look much better! Have you thought about doing the cards that were exclusive to the European base set? I tried to edit the text but I'm using GIMP and unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to edit existing text on PSD files.
