Hero Quest: Advanced Quest

Hey all

Just saw on ebay a red booklet with the title Hero Quest Advanced Quest and written at bottom of cover The Dark Company. Was wondering if any knows about this I didn't see it on this site. How many quests are in it and are there new minis that are required. Just curious is all.

Cheers

It's one large quest that encompasses four times the gameboard, with mercenaries. It was released with a re-published HeroQuest version, that had 12 extra men-at-arms miniatures. Hard to find, but the quest can be downloaded. All you need is some extra men-at-arms figures. And there are some nice replacement mini's out there, you just have to look for them.

four gameboards are not technically neccessary, but it would seem as if it would make for a better game. If you don't have four gameboards (and enought furniture/doors/tiles for them) you may use a single gameboard (as instructed in the 'rules' for this quest). You just need to set up the new 'board' when they travel from one to the other. You can find a copy of it most places (somewhere on ye olde inn; i think) but if you're interested, I have a re-mastered copy of it on my website (just follow the banner). My group hasn't gotten the chance to play this one yet, but I believe it will be quite the undertaking.
