Finally back to HQ

Postby AndyW » August 2nd, 2011, 2:46 pm

Greetings All!

I'm new to this board but not heroquest. I played this game when it came out back in the 90s but I have never owned the game until now! I picked up the core system about a month ago for $35 off of craigslist. It was complete and in pretty good shape. I've got a good group together and we just started playing through the quests.

I'm glad I found this site so once we finish the original quests we can keep going with all of your created ones :)

Also if anyone has a expansion set they would be willing to part with I am looking :D

Thanks for the heads up, those are probably the only two expansions I'd buy. The last two US expansions seem to be extremely expensive. I did some more searching and I think i found a guy that will sell them both to me for $60.

I don't know why anyone would pay too much for KK and RotWL, they can print all the books, cards and tiles they need and buy the extra miniatures relatively cheaply.

Andy, if you can get the barbarian or elf packs for $60, that would be a bargain indeed.

Yeah, i was talking about kk and rotwl; but you do make a good point. If I can just fine the miniatures that would be the a much better way to go

For KK you only need some extra orcs and goblins, right?
And for RotWL some zombies, skeletons and mummies?
Just get a box of warhammer mini's, or LotR. Adds variation to your miniature collection too :)

Yeah I'll wait and see what this guy has, if they are in really good shape and complete i'll grab them, if not I'll be buying some mini's :) Any certain sets work better with HQ then others?
