Maximillian wrote:Hi there and thank you for responding! I have watched all of Always Board Never Boring's videos; they are awesome. I do not think he used that pdf, or it doesn't look like it. His print seems very clean and crisp and the pdf I have seen circulating is noticeably poorer (at least in many places; I guess it is very inconsistent, weirdly enough). That said I could be wrong. Perhaps I should try to contact him.
I hear you about not being eager to scan your original. I would be too. I did do that on my original for the base game though. My copy was clean with some (minimal) wear. I scanned it to the most ridiculous specs I could find ending up with a pdf about 150mb. But it looks great! And I did not end up damaging the original either. Saddlestiched booklets are usually pretty good about being scanned flat. In any case, I am not suggesting you should scan yours unnecessarily.
Thank you for sharing what you have! I will keep looking; let me know if you hear/see anything.
All the best!

I am trying to make for myself a home-made version of AHQ with the Terror in the Dark expansion. I have been able to purchase an original rulebook for AHQ and plan to start from there. I have some of the miniatures, some other period-accurate minis and plan to purchase more (when I can afford to) or alternatively find suitable alternative sculpts as prints, other old-hammer type minis etc. I have files of artwork to recreate tiles, and dungeon doors can thankfully be printed (or purchased) from many places.
Unfortunately, I have been looking for months to try and find the Terror in the Dark rulebook with no luck whatsoever. Prices at Ebay (for the entire expansion only) are ridiculous, and much higher than for the base game. I cannot possibly afford any of that. I found a circulating pdf scan that is of pretty poor quality and not something I would ideally want to work with (beggars can't be choosers of course and all that...).
If you have any advice or tips for me I would be beyond grateful.
In any case, thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.
P.S. I have seen the post of the fella who is looking to sell his entire collection. I can't possibly afford to purchase it unfortunately, let alone ship it to Canada.
