This maybe the wrong place for this. I am wanting to create new cards I have downloaded the files ect. I am trying to edit them with GIMP. does anyone know if that is possible e I cant seem to get the layers to work. especially the text layers. thanks

Are they in the correct format? For layers to work as far as I can remember they need to be .gnu or .psd (Photoshop or GIMP file formats); if it's JPEG or PNG or something normal they don't have layers
