The Witch Lord fig is a solid choice. Here's the one I went with:

I prefer the helmed head as opposed to the bare skull for the Witch Lord, just feels like he should have a helmet/crown.

How much did that one cost?

I bought him in metal quite a few years back for around $8, but now he's available as a $2.79 Bones fig!
It's like a new pair of underwear; at first it's constrictive, but after a while it becomes a part of you. I have to go...

What's do these fellas look like beside the HQ figures, size-wise? Can we get some comparison pics?

It's listed as 25mm Heroic Scale.
I'll give you pics when it arrives in the mail.

IF it scales as well as the others I've bought from Reaper Bones, it should be perfect.

For example

A lot of reaper miniatures are gigantic compared to the heroquest ones. Some are just the right size, but its kind of a gamble buying them online.

I love reaper minis for d&d, but their sizes vary quite a bit sometimes. I wish they had a little more consistency with size.

The big ones I've seen and bought are ususally the monsters.
All the "human sized characters have all been roughly the right size.

Other comparison pics are already in the forum.

For instance a reaper mini orc

And a HeroQuest ogre

Tons of comparison pics in this thread

Reaper sells inconsistent scales among their offerings.
Basically, all of their figures need to be taken scale pictures of.

The two notches/indicators on the side of the pic do a good job showing how tall/big the mini is.
So you can estimate whether or not it'll be roughly the same height or tower over your other minis.
