I agree, a skeleton for the priest, and no crossbows for mummies.

Unfortunately no one in this party has the Spirit Blade.

I'm getting everything together for the finale of this quest starting a week on Monday at my brother's.

First it Carlos' Starter Pack to introduce Imperial Noble Deiter von Lubrecht, his trusty groundskeeper William McBride (Ranger) and Altus the Alchemist. These will then join up with Saracen the Barbarian for quests 10-12. But not before Gilbert Chancier (son of Pierre) has rescued the Elf, Torallion Leafstar (A Friend in Need) and then the two have recovered the Ethereal Blade (Journey to the Bottom of the Crypt) and then passed the blade onto Saracen (he'll need it!). If there is time, the two will then join up with Balash the Wizard and Princess Gwendoline to retrieve 'The Emperors New Clothes'.

9 quests in five days, two of them double sized. A tall order, but we shall see?

Re: [Quest Pack] [12 Quests] - Heralds of Chaos

My brother and I finally finished the last quest between Christmas and New Year. Bane was subdued straight away and kept down by three henchmen, backed up by Altus the Alchemist with all the Holy Water for when the henchmen failed. However, a monster swap moved Bane right up to the Heroes. Deiter (Imperial Noble), with the Spirit Blade, had to be assigned to keep him down along with a couple of henchmen and Altus when he finally arrived, so slow! Meanwhile the Bane watch team were surprised by the sudden arrival of a fully awake Death Knight, which swiftly dispatched the Swordsman!

But with the attrition of the other henchmen and the loss of healing potions, my brother realised he would need more men at the front, especially the powerful Deiter. As men peeled away from Bane and the Holy water ran out, the main party approached the final room. Deiter sprinted off with his boots of lightfoot leaving just a man at arms. It wasn't enough. Bane had no time to spare and lightning Bolted the unfortunate man who blocked the doorway. With a charge card Bane was speeding towards the action, but he was too late. The immense Saracen, fuelled by a Potion of battle Rage, Icy strength, Heroic Brew and Strength, cut a swathe though the Death Knights and the spawned Gargoyle, despite a distraction putting him off his first attack. But the weaker characters and last two henchmen were still suffering. When the quest was completed all the main characters were down to 4BP's with only two healing potions between them. All the henchmen were dead except for a lone Ranger (no pun intended!).

This quest was really enjoyable. Even my usually reticent brother commented how well it had all flowed and worked. Thanks Count for all the hard work producing this for everyone.

Up next is my brother's main Elf character, Eagle. He must assemble an entirely new crew as his last team was wiped out in Mage in the Mirror. He is off to do Vengeance for Vengeance. The questing never ends!
