I know i still have it somewhere, and WD 300 is the only complete issue i held on to after i went through my Games Workshop detachment process.

That would be awesome, Thank you!

Ok, so i checked issue 300 and the map was included in that issue. The map is described as "the most complete map of the Warhammer World ever drawn" in the issue itself. Its still very lacking in detail, but hey, its the whole warhammer world. If you are any bit as much of a cartography lover as i am, its a cool map. It will also make you realize how much of the world has never made an appearance in the actual game.

I still like this one.... Image

I hope I haven't broken any rules by posting links to larger images.

Someone with some Photoshop skills really needs to just make a fan-version (Original work but based on the canon material), of the world map to be used as an unofficial resource... Then the community could decide "Where" in the world the quests take place and go from there. It could be an awesome and very useful tool which need not actually say Warhammer or HQ anywhere on the work.

I love maps and considering how this topic pops up every so often in one form or another I really see the potential usefulness in such a project. Unfortunately my own PS-Fu would never cut it.

I totally agree. Right now I use the huge map at Gitzmans Gallery for that very purpose. It's almost too big though.

Oh sorry, I lost track of the thread somehow...

I don't have a link to the huge poster map the OP mentioned. These are the ones I was talking about.

Here is a link to the Old World Map: http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/warhammerfb/images/c/c7/Warhammer_olde_world_map.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1024?cb=20130917163104

Here's this one too, if anyone wants it: http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/warhammerfb/images/0/00/Map-Warhammer-World-3-Color.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140504071203

the latter, digital map, is VERY accurate. It even combines in all the old WFRP material.

I will try to post links to larger images..... These other links just keep linking to smaller versions.

Here's this one. http://whfb.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/4/4f/WarhammerWorld.jpg

Here is a close up of the Southlands. And you might get a better sense of the influence the Sea Elves (the Naval Empire of the High Elves) have. (They still seem to be the main naval defense against any north-bearing Chaos incursions.)

Could this map possibly be the one the OP was asking about? http://oi57.tinypic.com/4r3tb8.jpg
