I have the figs from game system first edition and set from the Witch Lord expansion.
I also have figs from over boardgame (legend of zagor, descent (a lot !) and battle masters)
When I was a young boy, I'd have HQ new edition with men-at-arms but i have just found one of those. The others were lost ! (forever and ever)
Otherwise, I have bought few figs from warhammer battle, more detailed than HQ figs, but the same look, and the same universe too.
I have bought 6 Ogres, 2 Sorcerers, 20 Skavens, Orcs Riders, 4 metal dwarves, 15 men-at-arms too. Later, I will certainly buy more, specially for finding some equivalent for the frozen horror pack, but it's very hard.

Two sets of basic set, plus all expansions, plus Advanced heroquest, plus whatever other minis (mostly Reaper & D&D) are needed to play the vast number of fan made quests my group has downloaded over the years... we use one original box for minis, one for furniture, and the advanced heroquest box to hold all of the boards & overlays....

...frankly we have too much stuff. Its taken us two years playing a few hours a week to get through 20% of the quests that we have on file! On the plus side, thats another eight years of fun ahead!

I've been playing HQ pretty solidly for most of the past year just about every weekend - and we're talking 6+ hours at a go here...

...and I have NO intention of stopping so far!

I just received a cheap lot of Genuine HQ figs. from Ebay UK, the skels are shocking pink, the zombies all bare-assed. Makes you wonder who or what is out there.
