My new hobby for the next couple of weeks. (New Pics 2/20)

Postby Daniel Anteron » February 17th, 2011, 9:46 am

So I figured I would share what I'm going to be up to for a little while. I'm working on a paper craft map for my Star Wars Saga Edition campaign I'm going to be running here's what I've got so far.
Unfinished body of the small scout ship.
Image
The cockpit does open in case if you were wondering. 8-)

Shot of the front seat.

Shot of the back seat.

Rear wings and engines attached.

Front wing and guns attached.
Image
Shot of underside and landing gear.
Image
Size comparison time. That is a Star Wars mini next to the ship.

Basically the only thing I have left to do is put the seats in the cockpit and it's done. Then it's on to the main ship. Also if anyone's interested here's where I got the plans to make this set at. They have fantasy stuff as well. Which could be used for HeroQuest, and with their new Terrainlinx setup the maps can be modular. While it's not free the prices are extremely reasonable.

Here's their promo for the new Terrainlinx.

That's pretty cool. The fantasy stuff looks really nice, too.

Yeah they're stuff is beautiful. I'm thinking about going with either the forest or cliffs set next. I haven't decided yet.

Just a quick update no pictures yet. The scout ship is done, but I didn't start on anything else yet. I was way too tired to build anything else last night. Last night I was only running on 4 hours of sleep. I'm well rested today and when I get off tonight I'm going to stay up late to start working on the detachable cargo bay and shuttle bay. Expect pictures either later tonight or early tomorrow morning. :D

Ok guys here's some pics of the Shuttle bay.
Image
Here's a shot of what it looks like on the inside.
Image
Here's some Star Wars Mini's for reference.
Image
As you can see the Shuttle bay door does in fact open.
Image
Also the other door that leads into the ship can be opened.
Image
These last two are just fun action shots, enjoy! 8-)

Wow, that is looking really cool. I have been playing a lot of 40K games at about 300pts more of a skirmish level game. Those would wok out great for that.
