HeroQuest Soundtrack

What do you like to listen to whilst hacking Goblins, chopping Orcs, and burning the Undead?

I prefer listening to soundtracks from various era themed movies and video game RPGs, such as Lord of the Rings, Legend of Mana, Chrono Cross, and Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, X, and XI, to name a few.

I find Final Fantasy IX to have the best music to get me into the HeroQuest mood.

I'm currently going through all my soundtracks and picking the best tracks to play as themes for each quest and various boss battles. Once I'm done, I'll post a link to my HeroQuest Soundtrack. Please be patient, as this will take quite a bit of time.

I usually listen to some sort of rock or heavy metal. But thats usually when I'm just foolin around with organizing stuff since I don't have anyone around to play with. I guess I'd listen to Led Zeppelin since its my favorite band. Perhaps some Iron Maiden. Of course now I'm downloading drathe's soundtrack so it might be that!

The only problem with the soundtrack would be the same as playing a video game RPG. The themes can get boring after looping several times. Some quests can take quite a bit of time.

Most often, I just play a huge collection of video game soundtracks, Lord of the Rings soundtracks, and anything else that fits the theme and play the entire selection on random.
