Full implementation of HeroQuest in Dungeons and Dragons 5E

Postby Fumetsujo » July 18th, 2025, 6:38 am

Hi everybody,

In my collection, I have a lot of HeroQuest, a game that I hold very dear.
My friends prefer Dungeons & Dragons, as it's a bit more complex and expansive.
As a DM, I thought of a way to incorporate my beloved HeroQuest into the world of D&D.

If you follow the link below, you'll find a folder with all the resources you need to start a Dungeons & Dragons campaign or one-shot, using as many HeroQuest assets as possible.

The project doesn’t include a “story,” but it’s otherwise complete.
No additional D&D manuals or resources are required (unless you go beyond level 3 with the custom-made characters).

If you use this project, you can jump in as a D&D Dungeon Master with a familiar and streamlined way of running the game. Just read my 8 page manual START_HERE_DM.docx.

I truly hope someone finds as much joy in this project as I did creating it!

Kind regards,
Fumetsujo

He will be at GenCon at the end of this month for a seminar. Someone should ask him how well CoPD plays with D&D rules...
