Again: "You may attack twice if attacking an Orc (each time)." is what I read intuitively. My re-wording is in the other thread.

I read "an Orc" as being "any monster that also happens to be an Orc." So if you are attacking two adjacent Orcs, each one can be hit once.

For what it's worth, I get ya, knightkrawler--"an" has more than one meaning. I prefer the general case interpretation, as it can be applied most inclusively. Thus, my game allows 2 attacks against a single Orc or a single attack each against 2 Orcs. Others are welcome to apply a more restrictive definition--English rules can sometimes be read either way.
