Arena Rules in Against the Ogre Horde Remake

Postby Cybermage67 » March 17th, 2024, 7:55 am

Hi I appreciate this is still relatively new but
Could someone please help with the arena against the orge horde.

Activation. If monsters are down to one and heroes have four does this not give the heroes an unfair advantage as in four attacks against last monster and only one plus a basic manoeuvre for the monster against heroes. Seems unbalanced being that heroes have more than one body point and a wizard can immobilise or one shot with a spell.

Second arena quest - if heroes remain active after wave 1 then surely by the time I get to activate all of second wave of monsters they would be all dead or is it that if I stay behind door they can't be attacked, but that makes activation pointless.
Also can heroes attack unactivated monsters.

Potions. If heroes have potion, scrolls etc can these be taken into arena or do they have to rely on power ups in the arena. The later would also be an unfair advantage if heroes have potions/scrolls from previous quests.

Thank you.

There's a rule in the book about being down to the last character - basically it gets a free movement or a free 2 dice attack on its "off" turns.
