I have two versions of that book: The one you presented here, and another one that has little tutorials for every step of the game. Are they from different versions of the game or were they included in the same game set?

Maybe you have the 1989 version too.
It is like the questbook, 1989 version featuring The Maze and 1990 featuring The Trial.

Indeed, I just checked. One is with the Trial, the other one with the Maze.
