I have just begun to make a boardgame in FIMO pasta ! It works very well and I don't have spend much time on it (just one day). Tell me what you think about it.

If you want to do this boardgame by yourself too, ask me, I will tell you... You'll see, it's very easy and very good looking. I will make the furniture by this way and more elements will come later.

SEE YOU SOON, waiting for comments.

They look great. Do you intend to make your entire game with these, or are you planning to design them for use on a heroquest board. They would give a great atmosphere of exploring through old ruins.

I will make the entire gameboard like that, I hope... But I will keep all elements isolated for having modular board and elements.

The models look really great, impressive paintjobs, too. |_P
I've worked with Fimo before, it's very hany and easy to use, would always recommend it.
Did you harden the pieces in the oven?
You seem to have added parts of commercial miniatures - I see a shield and a skull. How did these "survive" the heat?

yes of course, the pieces have been harden in the oven. (10 minutes at 130°C)...
The commercial parts, I just had them after I have put the piece in the oven and paste it with super glue (AFTER not BEFORE !!!)... Else it will make some plastic ball, a new spell for HQ Remaster... ;)

This may sound like a stupid question, but what the hell is FIMO pasta?? You look like you are doing a great job with it, your creations look fantastic. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks Gravaillon!!

FIMO is like a modeling pasta (I don't know how you traduce "pasta" in english or "pâte" in french), like for child... But it's plastic that you could cook, so you can harden the pieces in a oven.
Then, you can make some wonderful objects very easily... When cooked (just 10-15 minutes), make it cold (so wait 10 minutes more) and then you can paste some plastics elements (miniatures parts from games workshop minis for example) and paint it !

That's it ! 1,70 Euros for 5g, for example, for the tomb I have only use one 5g pak of fimo... With another, I have made around 15 tiles... So, it is very cheap... Try and send some photos of your artwork ! It will be nice !
