Battlemap - Dwarven King's Tomb

Hi guys, I finally managed to complete a small project that I had in mind for several years now. i've always wanted to be able to replay the battle of moria in Balin's tomb from the Lord of the Rings movie. I've never found anything to my taste so I decided to undertake this small project. It took me 6h splitted over 3 evenings to complete this battlemap ! I think it is the best creation I've done so far :)

I hope you'll enjoy playing on it as much as I enjoyed making it !

It looks cool. Too bad that battle wasn't anything like the book version. Durin's Bane showed up in the book.

is this the highest resolution you made? 1600x1600?

Looks awesome though! I like the dead Mantic dwarves lying around xD

Yep, 150 pixel per inch, which is enough I think.

Durin's Bane didn't show up in the Chamber of Records containing Balin's tomb, either in the book or PJ movie. The movie moved the troll into the room, rather than keeping it held behind the door (as the book did). The book instead had an orc chieftain attack in the chamber containing Balin's tomb.

Both the book and movie had Durin's Bane, a balrog, show up in the Second Hall before the bridge.
