Has anyone ever looked on drivethrustuff.com?
I was on there this morning, and they have quite a bit of free tile downloads. In particular, search for the
following companies (just type their name in the search)
DramaScape
Lord ZseZse Works
e-adventure tiles
scrying eye games
crooked staff publishing
gmc
You can also just simply look for game tiles or battle map or something similar, and set the
sorter to show free stuff first.

They have a lot of great stuff. I've been a member of DriveThruRPG for a long time. My collection of papercraft PDFs is steadily growing, even though I hardly have time to actually make any of it.

I'm also a member there. I got the Inked Adventure dungeon tiles, and the geomorph tiles as well. Great stuff!
They had a $1 sale on some cool papercraft buildings a few weeks back.

I just found
http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/124929/ right now and at the footer says you can use HQ board! Holy crap I'm ecstatic!
Yeah I like drivethru a lot. Not just because I won the Inked Adventures contest (Thanks Sjeng for rigging that

) but because they have such good stuff. If I can keep interest going in tabletop gaming I'll budget for steady additions to my hobby.

Thanks Ivenbach - I hadn't even noticed that myself.
And, to be honest, I don't think the prices for the PDF's you have to pay for are all that
expensive. The one you linked to is just under $4.00. Even if it costs $6 or $7 to print
it out, you're still better off than buying one at the game store.

Overall it's not that bad. I agree that even with a nice printing at a local copy place you'll still not be spending that much, less than buying them from a main retailer. I'll either end up printing them out myself which costs money or have them printed by someone that knows what they're doing.

Found a new site. Looks pretty okay...they're smaller tiles, but it looks like they're free so far.
I've downloaded six already...no charge yet.

With the megaupload and the later tiles that's 318. The printing looks expensive because outside the borders the backgrounds are inked. Still, I may find some use one day--thanks.

Awesome tiles! Great find! If someone has bothered downloading all of those, please let me know, and share it via dropbox or something. I'll download them and keep them in my dropbox for others to grab.
Also posting this on the blog tomorrow.

I spent the last two days
downloading gathering
over 600 Gary Chalk illustrations. And since I play on Roll20, I will definitely look at grabbing as many of these tiles as I can, too!
Sjeng, if no one else does it before I get around to it, once I have them I'd be happy to keep them in my Google Drive to share.

I'll link to the shared folder in this post when I do.
