Chaos Twins Quest

Postby Miksang » March 28th, 2013, 3:11 pm

Just though I would share a room tile I printed from the Chaos Twins Quest by Sean Hrncir. Tile from Advanced Hero Quest, converted by Dewayne Agin. (if I got any of that wrong let me know.

Quest can be found here...http://www.yeoldeinn.com/downloads/quests/hrncir-chaos-twins.pdf So far my group is about half way though and everyone is loving it.

First time I tried this glue so i hope it works better than the stick glue i've been using in the past.

Any questions on it shoot them over my way.

The liquid glue is the best though you have to know how much to put. I’ve found that the best is to make a rectangle from the one corner to the other 1cm far from the edge, and an X from the four corners. It is nice to experiment first, with cheap black and white prints, but as I can see you did a great job.

Every time I used liquid glue in the past it ended up warping the paper I was trying to glue. I was probably using too much though...

Thanks too! I was very impressed with the outcome. Going to print some from the official expansions next.

The liquid should look like a tear (this is the perfect width), if you put more the paper will get soaked and warped, the color powder will get on your fingers and probably will mess the things up.

This is a small tutorial for how I make cards.

And this is an old thread about having a more professional result using varnish.

Lamination is not recommended as you can read in this post.

I just seen some of the tiles from kellar's keep and return of the witch lord today.... I was super disappointed. They were flimsy and it seemed like they were just printed on paper! I couldn't believe it. They were way different than the tiles in the base game. The ones I made were 100 times better.
