Some of my mini's

Here are some of the mini's I have painted.
This is just the stuff I painted. I have a bunch more HQ monsters.
I added in two Elves from Another game as Elf mercs.

Also showing my knights off as they serve as giants occasionaly. (Bad assed Giants in plate mail and highly skilled at arms, they are meant to flee from...not fight.)

I glued pennies to the bottom of the knights so they would be more stable when they are ussed in combat simulation.

It works so well I did it to some of my pewter mini's from grenadier and ral partha. Damn things were always falling over.

Looks good.

I find it interesting how many people use gold on chaos warriors. I would never have thought of that, but it looks awesome.
I'll have to do one some day.

I once used 25-ører (Danish equivalent of pennies) as bases for a bunch of snotlings.
They are way more intimidating on separate bases than on one big.

You might notice the ork in the back of the ork formation with caucasian skin color. The name Black Ork is disinformation in my game. The 'Black Orks' really are white in skin color and black refers to the dark powers they serve and the stain on their hearts.
:)
(but that is not comon player knowledge at the table. The white orks are "simple farmers" who just don't want to be oppressed by other orks as far as my Heroes have it figured out.)

Sounds like you implement a lot of roleplaying in your game :-)

WOW! Your minis look great! One of these days I'm gonna try painting my minis... some day, maybe, possibly.

As for the pennies as bases, that's such a neat idea. (Poor worthless pennies.)

I like the mummies and the skeletons. Excellent colouring on them.

the only thing I did to the undead was make the eyes red on most of them and give them a light coat of Delvan mud, paint the weapon and ground. Then laquer after it dries.
Takes me no time at all.

The funny thing is I spent less time on the skellies and mummies than any other monster and they are the ones that get the most mention.

The pennies work great. I have the gargoyle on a nickle I do believe. I actually parted with a quarter for one of my mini's to keep it upright. Not a HQ one though. Quite a few are on dimes like my Hobbit, gold miner and Kender. Pennies are too big for them.
