Some of my painting efforts.

Just finished these 6 guys from D&D boardgame. Only need to do the bases, and perhaps give em a wash.

And some of my wife and my own earlier work:

I've used the D&D goblin as an ice gremlin. My wife painted that one and the polar war/bugbear. I've based the skeletons on her paint job, and made 2 colour variations.
And the D&D ogre is now a rat-ogre. They kinda look like one anyway, only without a tail.

Here you go.

The photograph actually shows a lot more detail than you'd normally see :P

wise lesson: always file off the casting edges before painting!

I basecoated it black, then painted it ogryn flesh (I think I mixed in a little bleached bone or graveyard earth), then drybrushed it in a slightly lighter skin tone twice, then washed it with devlan mud I think.
Same for the hair, starting with the black undercoat, dark brown/black mix paint, drybrushed it brown, washed it.

I even carved a skaven tattoo on his back, only to realise it's upside down :P

Wow !!
Very Nice !!

Looking at other peoples paint jobs helps me decided what I might try next time and what colors look good together.
Love the undead, I never really painted many skeletons, I should try working on them next.

Awesome thanks for the pictures !

thanks for the kind words ^^
I'm on a painting break again, simply don't have the time, but I'm still gonna paint em all eventually.

I've had some time for some painting! yay!

I gave my white seer a new base, well I repainted it that is, to have small cobblestones with moss

I tried my hand at a zombie. Didn't even see the teeth at first, but pics from others here made me aware of them. those were hard...

Skeleton: black undercoat, bleached bone quick drybrush, skull white light drybrush, brown scythe with gunmetal blade, mithril edges and some rust dabbed on.

I'm really happy about how my female elf turned out:
