I stole Whitebeard's idea (from the recent Christmas exchange) to use the walrus icon on monsters.

Good job!
Did you ever try to use SHADES paint? I guess they will increase a lot the quality of shadows/lights on your model.
For example that Sir Ragnar model would look better with some shadows on the chest plate and on the shield. It will increase the contrast and make some details standing out.

Isn't it a space orc?

It is a nice and easy free hand that one!

Cheers!
It is indeed a space ork. I never owned or played Warhammer 40'000 myself, so when I look at that model I don't see it as a futuristic model and I have no problem seeing it as a HQ one instead. When I found it the arm that carries the gun was already missing, so it seems to cry out to be modded to an orc boss for my dungeons!

Good point about sir Ragnar. One of the things about the various models in the OP Is that many of them had old paint-jobs (either by myself or others), and with my "speed-painting" style I'm currently using (I don't have much time available) I've been a bit lazy at times. I've since undercoated the metal-work on that model and built up the colours properly |_P .

You've got some great minis, there! And I love that you rebased everything to match the originals. I'm trying to do the same myself.

I had heard that recently somewhere, but I haven't had much time for minis recently. I do need a few more so I might go ahead and buy them since there are so many in stock now.

Thanks!

They're back, even in plastic if you want.

Black orcs! I'm planning to add these to Kellars' Keep here and there to increase the player's interest level. I'm thinking Move 7, Attack 4, Defence 4, Body 1, Mind 1; and they will directly replace chaos warriors or Fimirs, in some rooms in some quests. If anybody could tell me who made these model I'd be very grateful.

Their much darker skin tone can be seen in comparison to the orc crossbowman which has the standard orc fleshtone. The crossbow-orc is itself a very old school warhammer metal orc boar-rider. The boar went missing long ago, and I thought it would make a good HQ foot soldier instead, considering that there are quite a few quests where the odd orc has a crossbow.
