I can see the image now and no, I don't have a Facebook account myself.

Just out of curiousity though, what is the goal of this topic? Are you looking for advice or information with regards to what you're doing?

Thank you for posting this. I am going to print one of the Frozen Horror minis, and maybe the ice gremlins. But I'm waiting for better scan to show-up... I'm too busy to learn Blender and fix it.

FYI: There is a better yeti on thingiverse (not a HQ yeti) which I would scale down and use. As KK would say, the FH minis look like they were designed by a 5 year old and this is mostly in reference to the yeti and war bear.
Has resigned from the forum and would delete his account if he could.

Wel there are a lot of other factors besides the scans. Resolution of printer, extrusion speed/diameter, time per piece. I am using a luzbot 6 about a 1,600 printer and they take 1-2 hrs each. If they took any longer it would not be worth my time. I would just buy Mondos recast at 5 to 8 bucks a pop. Even the best 3d printer and scanner at that scale would not come out much better. I have used a few printers. You are right the scans could be brtter but most printers could not manage the quality at that scale

I have also tried a wet/cnc router. Scale is just too small. A few of my GI Joe buddies run a custom figure company and they are debating on doing injection molds but hasbro had not given a clear answer on who owns the rights to hq nor will they give permission to make molds. Hasbro actually had a spectacular relationship with the GI Joe community.

The conversation leads me to believe that an hq reissue is at least being discussed.
