Alternative figures?

Planning on replicating all the expansion sets. Being a graphic designer all the books, cards and cardboard pieces are no prob to remake. Having 2 nearly complete base sets coming in the mail so I should have all the miniatures for the RETURN OF THE WITCHLORD/KELLAR'S KEEP expansion sets.

Any thoughts on a good places to find replicas/alternatives of the miniatures for the other 4 expansion sets?

I think this might help:

There's discussion about other figures that are similar and work to expand the game as well as alternative minis for some hard-to-find figures.

Definitely check out the models that came with the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy adventure board game. These are usually available online, cheap and a good match for HQ. They make good proxies for ogres, polar warbears, ice gremlins, skeletons and maybe a few others.

Oh my favorite topic! As anyone who knows me around here knows.
I just got in a ton of battle masters minis.
Ogre, orcs, goblins, Chaos Warriors and Men-at-Arms and archers and crossbowmen.
I've also got a bunch of LotR elven archers.
And extra HQ monsters.

I'll happily hook you up.
Would you be willing to consider making a trade of goods and services?
My replacement minis for your skills at crafting replacement cards, cardboard character cards, maybe even printed recreations of the books?

Hell yeah that would be sweet. I am planning on recreating a whole slew of that stuff already. I have downloaded all the high res scans of the expansion sets. But there seems to be a couple of hiccups I need to get past before I can progress.

1) seems I cannot open the PDF's in photoshop as it asks for a password. The cards need to be specked and separated for my printers settings.

2) A few of the high res image links tell me "Only Champions may download attachments from this room. " when I try to download them. So I am unsure if I will ever be able to get them.

Any thoughts on ways around either of these?

when you'll post more you will be able to dwnload from the Champion's pages. (you just need to reach 14 posts in total; the same number of quests in the game-system...)

Thx on that but it seems they are all pretty old and hard to find thus would be expensive to get. Already dropped too much on the base HQ

Look through the last 13 or so pages. A lot of modern stuff posted. Especially by yours truly.
Go back to page 27 or so
