These bookcases are just awesome.
Another great source for inspiration once this freakin' summer has left my attik.

Wow, you actually handpainted the bookpages? I must admid, when I did this once, I just designed the page on the computer and laser printed it in tiny scale - and would do so again. My uttermost respect for your work.
Then again, a tiny bit of criticism - I love your overall work, but you probably posted it here to also get hints - I find the old GW skulls much to "primitive", they just don't fit into your detailed approach. I would have used the skulls of the new skeletons (and left out the orc skull if there is no new version). My :2cents:
Have a look ;)

No, not water. Under intense heat.
Once I sit down and start sweating like an old fat fraggle, then it's under water.
I can't paint with saltwater dripping from the tip of my nose.
And the consistency of the paint.
For fraggle's Sake, I like fall and spring, and I don't mind winter, but this... GHAAAAAHHGH !!?!

and it's attik with a k. It's a given name, knightkrawler's attik.

Another piece of furniture is finished!

Obligatory link to my project page with a pic and description of how I made this, as well as the previous furniture I've posted: http://www.showdowndave.ca/heroquest/furniture.html

I present, the Alchemist's Bench:

It's like a new pair of underwear; at first it's constrictive, but after a while it becomes a part of you. I have to go...

Wonderful. I love that thing, including the green stain and the scroll writing and the skull.
The scrolls and books are nicely done, and I really love the naturaöistic woodgrain in all dimensions.
I'll have you for inspiration if I can't find any readymade furniture I like, which given what I've seen out there might very well be the case.

Amazing stuff. I still can't get my head around how the scroll is hand painted! Such small letters. I struggle to write a post card, never mind something that small.
