Probably answered a gazillion times - so sorry - but are reaper bones similar scale to HQ and are they mountable on bases easily? I am a n00b when it comes to conversion although I'm sure re basing wouldn't be too bad...

I was looking at frost giant as a frozen horror proxy, or the other guy thats recommended.. Can't remember it's name.
Maybe some replacement ogres and later human figs (wizards elves etc).

Also anyone know any good mini sellers in Aus? I found one today, seemed good cant recall name right now.

Reaper is very close and works well with HeroQuest. I found some to be slightly bigger, but just barely. Bones bases can be easily removed (I used wire cutters and sandpaper), but the metal ones may take a bit of work.

I see you specified bones already. i don't like what they are made of. They are very soft and particularly bendy, especially if the figure has any thin spots like a sword or staff. Some people don't seem to mind this.

reapers scale is all over the place from old 25mm to true 28mm to heroic 28mm to some that gotta be 32mm for bones ogres youd probably wanna use the black orcs size wise ogres would not fit on a hq base id use the bugbear for the frozen horror the giant is way bigger bones would be easy to rebase and you can get bases from members on this site plenty of the elves and wizards would work but like I said the sizes are very different between figures so it depends which ones you pick

QFT. Styles and sizes all through scales, each figure has to be held in hand individually to see if it fits or doesn't. Reaper employs and hires 50,000 sculptors at any given time.

QFT means Quit freakin' Teasing.
No, in all honesty, it's Quoted For Truth.
