THE BATTLE OF THE DINOSAURS - A game by Stephen Baker too.

Dear all,

Stephen Baker, the creator of our beloved game HeroQuest, recently announced the launch of a new board game also designed by him, titled Saurozoic Warriors Arena Battle Game (for more info, I recommend watching related Jordan Sorcery's video here).

However, we know this is not the first time that Stephen Baker works in a dinosaur themed game. In 1998, Stephen Baker revealed to KAOS magazine that he worked with Roger Ford in the design of board game Die Schlacht der Dinosaurier (aka The Battle of the Dinosaurs), a game released in 1993 by Schmidt Spiele.

This game recreated a battle between dinosaur armies led by human riders in a fantasy-prehistoric context, vaguely under the umbrella of Dark Eye rpg universe... I own a copy of this dinosaurs game and I can say it reminds me a lot to Battle Masters, but I think its mechanics are a bit more challenging and have more tactical taste than the MB game ones.

Unfortunatelly, The Battle of the Dinosaurs was only released in the 90's in German and French languages... until now!

In September 2023 I started to work in a full translated version of the Rulebook to both English and Spanish languages, for anyone who would like to use it, and today I can say I finally finished it!

As a personal tribute to Stephen Baker and his return to the dinosaurs battles, I am so glad to share with the Fans Community the translated rulebook, edited as close as possible like the original one. Here it is:
