i'm suprised no one has brought up either of these yet. both Munchkin and Red Dragon Inn are very fun and funny fantasy/dungoun-crawler based card games that are easy to learn/play, don't take too long, and are very afordable.

I've heard some good things about the various Munchkin games. Sadly, I've not had the opportunity to play any yet. I believe I've heard about Red Dragon Inn too, but I don't remember anything about it.

I've played some parties of Munchkin.
First it's fun but the game shows quickly its limits when you have a mob lvl 6546546 in all rooms around you ...
I prefer zombies.
Descent is easy to play with the reedited mainbox, I just regret the lack of 3D furniture, secret doors & passages in brief what is doing a real dunjeon. (see my last post about Descent)

The red dragon look very fun IMAO !
I'm going to see if it has been translated in french or not.

I haven't played the Munchkin board game yet. I absolutely love the card game, though.
I've thought about attempting to do a munchkin-style card game using hq-like characters,
monsters, rules, and such...being more serious than munchkin. I've noticed that card
games can be so much simpler than other types of games...and therefore much more fun.
