ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GAME

sometimes we play it when an adventure isn't ready to go, or just for variety.

It can be real fun. You start out gathering the survival materials you will need to fortify your house for an extended siege of undead.

...early in the game, when there is only a Zombeh or two on your yard...easy to shoot and remove - no danger atall!

later on - zombies are adding up!

Near the end! Some of the cards inside the house are turned over just to keep track of what was used during the turn - they will be turned over again at the end of it.

When it gets this late in the game all you can do is make a dent in the hordes that are swarming your house. The erstwhile "winner" is the last one left alive - though if you play through the next turn or two, he sure isn't living much longer!

I saw this Saturday at my local game store and thought about getting it. Now, I think I just might. Looks like fun. Thanks for posting the information!

I've often thought about going to your local games store and posting a paper on the wall about "looking for players".

Short description of game, a pic of the board...your email address maybe an address of where on the web to find the rules of the game /write up review of it.

Then you can potentially meet all kinds of new friends...I mean if not in a game store where the HELL will you ever meet them?!?

I've got plenty of fellow geeks. But we are all in our 30's with stupid responsibilities and different schedules. (puts head down and cries some more.)

I've been using my time to set up a good HQ campaign where the Hero's are evil and are guided by Zargon and I play the part of the Righteous Dungeon Master, Mentor. One day......

Sorry back to topic. Does anyone know a good table top Zombie RPG with more character development? Zombies! would be perfect for me if Hero's had classes like fire fighter, cop, construction worker, soldier.

Local games store...
fellow geeks...
Even that is luxury where I live.

I have to drive 60 miles to get to the next fantasy game and comic book store.
45 miles to the next toy store that sells Warhammer stuff - and not too much of it, too.

I do not live in the middle of nowhere, mind you, it's just...
difficult.
Ebay is big in Germany.
But on eBay no players-in-your-neighborhood are offered.

I live in a great place for geekiness! I have a 5 minute walk to the games store (tabletop, live, softguns) and an additional 1 minute to the specialized tabletop-only store and it's neighbor the comic store.
I feel very lucky ;)

Back to topic... Are there no hero characters?
