Back when I were a kid I didn't appreciate plastic minis.

* Metal had much more detail.
* All plastics were pretty much the same.
* Metal just feel better (This one still applies)

In addition it never occurred to me that all that stuff would be collector's items... sigh...

I wish though that the entire HQ board WAS 3cm², because it can get crowded in some rooms,

I have seen Warhammerquest go for some crazy prices on ebay. I tried to get one that had everything but the minis (wanted it for the extra tiles and doors) but I gave up when it reached a $175.00.

I got my copy of Warhammer quest for Fathers Day way back in the day when it was still being sold in gamestores. I did buy some extra treasure decks and the Orc expansion and a few extra heroes. But by the time I discovered Warhammerquest ,Games Workshop had already stop making stuff for it and all I could buy was what the game store had in stock.
