As for the youngest female in my house, right now she's more at the toy-roleplay stage. I haven't showed her the game yet, as I don't want my parts claimed in her playroom. Like you, I figure she needs to develop some reading skills first. It can wait--she's not going anywhere soon. I also plan to get Mice and Mystics when I go back to the states next year.
About her interest--she's aware of HQ mainly through the Inn. For a year or two she enjoyed typing in icons/smilies, which I let her preview. Just yesterday she presented me with a card featuring 2 Goblin-like creatures in the foregroud backed by 2 robots (It reminded me of Hero Cults
). A princess was imprisoned in the background. Guys to fight, a woman locked away in the dungeon--she knows what daddies like.
