What do you think of this combat mechanic (as a general Attack option and to replace the Yeti's solo mission kill move)?
Grappling:
Whenever a grappling attack causes an opponent to lose at least 1 Body Point, the attacker puts their adversary in a stranglehold.
As long as they are grappling, the wrestlers cannot perform any actions other than to attack their opponent or defend against their adversary's attacks as if they were unarmed (1 Attack die, 2 Defend dice).
If an opponent's attack causes the adversary to lose 1 Body Point, the attacker may choose to break the stranglehold. Both opponents are now free again.
Instead the attacker may choose to either maintain the stranglehold or to throw their opponent to the ground.
A prone opponent cannot take any actions or defend against attacks until their next turn.
Info: This variant rule mixes several elements. On the one hand there are the Yeti's hug attack and the "Fallen" condition (cannot take any actions or defend against attacks until their next turn) from the Frozen Horror. On the other hand there is the "Unarmed" condition (1 Attack die, 2 Defend dice) from the Game System's Quest Legacy of the Orc Warlord.
