Maybe the skill should read: Spend 1 dagger to deal a 1 Skull attack against an enemy you can see. Enemy defends as normal.
Or something like that. What is written doesn't work with my brain (but it may be just mine.)

You're right, some rule texts are so unspecific due to little card space (and of my bad english sometimes! :D )
If i print'em i'll definitely rewrite'em.

No, it's a different kind of attack. Bolt hit is a low damage skill that its energy/mana is equal to 1 thrown dagger (25 golds).

It depends from the daggers the wizard has, if he has 3 daggers he may use it up to 3 times (every use spends 1 dagger).
Bolt Hit is a repeatable dagger throwing skill which may not be buffed with spells/potions.
Every thrown dagger is automatically a :skull: and the defender rolls normally his defense dice.

I will allow though this skill to be used with a wand of magic. Imagine the wizard holding the wand and a dagger in each hand..
..then he may use 1 spell+1 Bolt Hit in the same turn.

Yes that's better. Did yo use photoshop? do you want to share the PDFs?

As for those other board people posted, it's the use of the dice in the boxes and the actual character model in background I like. The lil icon character in the corner too. The lil touches that make them stand out.

That barbarian image is good but there's still that problem of wasted space and is their a mini to match it?

What would be more fitting for the Ranger, would be a movement-based skill such as the ability to move 1 square immediately after making an attack--or +1 movement die if he's got herpes. That is the type of skill the class is named for, after all.

I just don't see why he's only a good shot five times a quest, or how he'd be able to save good shots for later. I think a permenant reroll makes sense, and how exactly the reroll works would depend on his other skills/restrictions.
