Been working on the advanced game cards.

Seems I need illustrations for about seventy new spells and backs for 23 new spell groups...

Ouch, man.

For the front sides, you would probably do well to steal Magic the Gathering art as often as you can.
The backs will be trickier - especially if you want to keep them in approximately the same style as the original backs!

I'm not too fussed. I have some arts from the original quest for revised ed cards.

I've looked around here and found some arts on existing cards with similar themes.

Today morning I tried to find a generic way via Photoshop filtering to convert a random greyscale pic in Gary Chalk like lineart, but it is not so easy.

I seem to recall that Arcade on Old Scratch managed something similar a few years back!


I've decided that the Dungeon, Event, and Skill cards won't have front illustrations*. I can get away with this as they've no equivilent in the base game.

So it's just the 23 new Spell Groups, expanded Armoury, and the Enchanter's Emporium cards that need the illustrations.


*Unless some kind and insane artist wants to illustrate any given set for me of course.

Not sorted out any of the illustrations yet. However, I have put up the Hero Spells, Enchanter's Emporium, Advanced Armoury, and Skill cards, along with the Advanced Hero boards.

Just leaves the Event and Dungeon cards to go!

I should mention, the new Spells are based on Anderas' system, which is based on my proposals. And the circle is complete

I am now over half-way on the art, however, am still in need of some, even having raided the illustrations on Ye Olde Inn!

If anyone can help with the missing art, please let me know! I still need:
