There need to be a reason for the heroes to not just idle until they can roll high enough movement.

Here is a new Earth Spell I came up with that is a trap at heart.

Cool idea for a spell.
Can each model only get hit once? Other vice the changing direction part is crazy!
An idea could be for it to be able to change direction each time it hit either a model or a wall.

Regardless it is definitely a "high level" spell!

It could roll over the same square if the player rolled high enough. I can envision a magic boulder simply rolling back and forth over a polar warbear.

EDIT: Also, what about this guy (new fire spell)? Image

He's also very trap-like.

You may have guessed that the theme with these is that they're basically spell-traps.

So on a roll of 12 you could hit an enemy 6 times. 6x3 dice= 18 dice = an average of -9 BP!
I take it it is meant for heroes only then? R... right?

You're just as likely to roll 2 and hit an enemy one time.

That would still grant 3 dice which is as powerful as a game system spell.
And as the average roll is 7 that grants 4 hits of 3 dice = 12 dice = average 6 hits.

Not saying it's a bad spell at all, just pointing out it's extreme potential with free movement. Any single target is pretty certain to die

That's if the wizard or elf is already adjacent to the intended target. Most enemies go down in one hit from practically anything, anyway. Even most "boss" enemies. The only end boss with any real whoop-ass is the Frozen Horror, and that's because he stays at the back of the room slamming you with spells while you wade through the toughest enemies in the game. At least with the Archmage you can get that badass elven bow.

You also still cannot have four Earth spells. You only get three, so you'd have to eliminate taking one of the others.
