Just a clarification for the Potions in Quest 8. The intent is to have Zargon not tell the Heroes the effects of the potions before they drink them. They are currently 'unknown' liquids.

There are no special rules for the deep pits. They were originally intended as impassible/bottomless obstacles. However, if you wish, you may use the rules from the Against the Ogre Horde for its pits of darkness, and combine it with the rules for jumping long pits in Mage of the Mirror. Personally, I consider them bottomless, but for the 2 square width pit, allow the heroes the risky opportunity to jump it using the long pit rules from Mage of the Mirror.

The stone walkway is just an open area that can be see from corridors on all sides. Merely decoration and atmosphere with a walkway down the centre.
