My 9 year old said she wanted to create a Quest. This is what she came up with. We play-tested it and made a few minor tweaks and it played out very fun. We had 2 experienced Heroes and 2 new Heroes playing.

Seems like a pretty good quest.

One tiny thing I would change is the rotating room somehow. If the elf player is unlucky he can waste quite a few turns getting nowhere, while the rest of the players is of having fun.
The mechanic of the room is solid, but not when a player is forced to start there.

In principle I'm also against having unavoidable pit traps guarded by monsters, but in this particular quest it's a bit balanced out by how few monsters you are really facing.

Good work - now bring me pictures of SPIDER KING!!!

The rotating room did get frustrating (I was the one stuck there for several turns.) Adds to the fun though, it easily could have played out different and not been an issue. The Wizard made it to the central room first and all alone. (After one Ice Gremlin grabbed his tool kit and ran off - also mine.) He quickly disposed of the Spider King by casting Genie and Ball of Flame before the Spider King even knew someone was there. Then he marched out and took down an Orc where the Dwarf and Barbarian were stuck. They only triggered one of the pit traps in the double hall. Body Points-wise the Quest played out very balanced.
